The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated and has a passion for developing web applications and learning new technologies. The web developer will be responsible for assisting the software development team in modernizing our legacy ASP.NET Web Forms applications to ASP.NET Core MVC, using C#, Bootstrap, jQuery, and other client-side libraries as needed. The web developer will be working in an agile environment practicing DevSecOps utilizing Microsoft Azure Cloud and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
Responsibilities of this role

Build modern web applications and participating in all cycles of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

Create comprehensive application testing procedures to include automated testing

Update existing applications to meet the security and functionality standards as required by DoD (Department of Defense) and Department of the Army

Assist in updating application development policies to ensure that all future applications meet the latest technical requirements

Provide user and technical documentation as modules and features are implemented
Qualifications and Skills:
-
1 - 3 years in web application development and testing

1+ years developing RESTful API’s

Ability to create support documentation for all new applications

CompTIA Security + certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

Familiarity with ASP.NET, C#, and the Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern
