Responsibilities of this role

  • facility, and equipment maintenance,

  • program planning,

  • cost analysis and control of facility and equipment maintenance,

  • facility requirements planning,

  •  maintenance of facility/equipment project files,

  • management of Government owned vehicle fleet and other specific tasks.
     

The primary supported facility is bldg. 1116, Ft Belvoir, VA, however, our geographically separated TSGs also require limited facility support requiring 1-3 weeks of travel throughout the year.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Four years practical experience in facility oversight.

  • Broad knowledge of Facility requirements and the requirements associated with maintaining an operational facility.

  • Significant experience in managing projects and DoD experience is preferred.

  • Competent computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office applications (e.g.Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).Working knowledge of Federal, Department of Defense (DoD), building operations regulations; knowledge of agency applicable regulations, technical orders and instructions; agency standard operating procedures and safety issues is highly desired.

  • In concert with other DTRA elements, plans, coordinates, and executes a comprehensive facility management program for NE-CO.

  • Intent is to provide an optimum level of facility service with minimal interference to facility occupants, and no adverse impact to
    mission.

 

The contractor shall:

 

  • Conduct routine (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly) assessments of facility components, building equipment, identify maintenance and repair requirements. Perform corrective actions within scope of abilities and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ensure that any Life/Health/Safety issues are immediately addressed. Maintain work order folders and records for scheduled maintenance activities.

  • Develop SOWs for corrective actions to be performed by contract or through Fort Belvoir Installation Management Command (IMCOM). Develop associated estimates of cost of sufficient detail to support budgetary requests.

  • Prepare draft DA Form 4283 for corrective actions identified, and forward to DTRA AL-EL (Engineering and Logistics Department) along with prepared statements of work and estimates of cost.

  • Serve as NE-CO technical point of contact (POC) for submitted projects.
